Expansion to the existing plant includes the addition of a 250 MLD Zenon Ultrafiltration and Fuji Ozone Disinfection facility consisting of 55,000 m³ of rock and earthwork excavation and 14,000 m³ of new concrete. 

Also housed within the new facility are five BAC contactors complete with stainless steel internals and media, various chemical systems and storage tanks, and air blowers. A new electrical substation including transformers and modifications to the existing feeder station allows increased power for expansion.

Also included are upgrades to the existing low lift pump station with the addition of three new low lift pumps and travelling screen. Yard work includes a new 1800 mm forcemain to connect the low lift pump station to the disinfection facility and a 1650 mm overflow pipe to Lake Ontario.
