<p><strong>Position Summary: </strong>Reporting&nbsp;the Senior Mechanical Estimator &amp; Developmental Supervisor, you will also interact with civil, electrical, and other mechanical estimators on a regular basis. You will be responsible for various estimating activities which will include; specification and drawing reviews, basic take-offs, soliciting material prices, preparation of estimates and participation in coordination meetings.</p>
<p>The successful candidate will:</p>
<ul>
<li class="bullets">Have mechanical experience and/or relevant education.&nbsp; <strong>Experienced apprentices may apply for this position.</strong></li>
<li class="bullets">Be able to read and understand drawings, specifications and information that are pertinent to the job at hand and be able to pass that information to suppliers and/or sub-contractors. </li>
<li class="bullets">Be able to assess material, labour and constructability aspects of a project.</li>
<li class="bullets">Have knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, such as word and excel.</li>
</ul>

<p>This is a salaried position and is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to bring their years of experience and knowledge to an environment where&nbsp;they will be able to realize&nbsp;their full potential. </p>
<p>The successful candidate will report to the Head of Electrical Estimating and will interact with civil, mechanical, and other electrical estimators on a regular basis, will display confidence and comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of the tender process which becomes clearly apparent when taking the lead in coordination and cost code meetings. Have&nbsp;proven ability to&nbsp;collaboratively&nbsp;deal with&nbsp;suppliers, sub-contractors, consultants, and other external companies.</p>
<p>The ideal candidate will have a minimum of&nbsp;5 years electrical experience. A trade certificate would be a definite asset, as would knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, such as word and Accubid software.&nbsp;&nbsp;Excellent written and verbal communication skills&nbsp;are required. </p>

<p>Reporting to the Vice President of Operations the Operations Manager's role is to plan, organize, provide direct leadership and support to senior project staff. The position is accountable for the success of multiple construction projects within the Western Division Operations. The role requires excellent leadership skills and business management sense with a thorough understanding of construction management functions within the mining, oil/gas, bio-energy and municipal sectors. The Operations Manager will be responsible for resource management, financial performance and client relations. </p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</strong> </p>

<li>Assist in the establishment and ensure compliance of operational unit&rsquo;s short-term and long-term goals with overall corporate objectives. Plan, staff, and supervise all assigned work unit activities through subordinate managers to ensure a cohesive operational unit.</li>
<li>Responsible for developing strong field force including all hourly and salaried operational staff in conjunction with the general superintendent as well as project managers and superintendents.</li>

The role requires excellent planning and communication skills, strong team leadership, a positive attitude and a thorough understanding of mechanical operations management of both industrial and municipal projects.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</strong></p>
